This Op-Ed NY Times article by Yasha Mounk is worth reading, despite some unfavorable reviews of his recent book about growing up Jewish in Germany. The Asian community continues to be misrepresented in our country politically, despite social acceptance from many Americans. It may be no surprise to some that Harvard fears to be perceived as an “Asian” school, and takes blatant steps to admit fewer Asians.
This is not the first time in its history that Harvard feared losing its ‘lily white’ status, as the article illustrates. However, in a time when Caucasians are now a minority nationwide, Harvard may feel pressure like never before to cease its racist practice.
This New York Times article quotes you as saying, “Violence like we saw last night cannot be repeated,” but why on earth would you expect otherwise in a state that treats its citizens of color so poorly?
Albert Einstein defines insanity as “Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” You are INSANE for expecting violence to not repeat without taking realistic steps to properly represent all of your citizens.
Rachel Maddow easily paints the picture of what institutional racism is, and to see you ignore such basic issues says it all. Stop playing both sides and start pointing fingers, if you don’t like protests.
Bill Cosby rape allegations are older than my daughter, so with her in mind I’d like to distribute this interactive list of famous celebrities women should NOT have dinner with.
(Also, the most dangerous US cities for assaults against women per ca-pita are Detroit & Saginaw (Michigan), Anchorage, Alaska, Springfield, Illinois, Redding, CA, and Flint, (Yes Michigan again!) Unfortunately, the US military can not be considered a state, but I would never let my daughter join the military, considering how assaults are investigated and prosecuted.)*

This article tries to take Thanksgiving away from white Americans, claiming that Thanksgiving began as a Lincoln-declared national holiday during the Civil War, “to promote unity”, but yours truly secured an exclusive interview with Abraham Lincoln during the signing and turkey slaughter.
Sara: Mr. President, thank you for seeing me today.
Lincoln: My pleasure, Sara, I’m a big fan.
Sara: Thank you, Sir, why declare this holiday at this time, aren’t you worried white citizens, especially southerners, will see this as you destroying the American narrative?
Lincoln: Nonsense, Sara, southerners need to bite it, and hard.
Sara: Excuse me, Sir?
Lincoln: After this war is over, I’m going to make it my mission to heal the wounds of this war. The South will find the end of the turmoil in ruin, and the more we work to resolve this war, the quicker our national recovery. But, I’m killing this bird because I’m hungry too, and I wish you wouldn’t make it sound like I’m taking something away from anyone, well except the Natives, of course. All Americans love doing that (the President laughs).
Sara: Mr. President, the timing of the holiday declaration will give slaves and former slaves the idea that this holiday belongs to them, aren’t you afraid they’ll take it, darken it with their yams, greens, and backwardness, and plunge our entire world into an eternal struggle for equality and justice where the powers that be do everything to stop it? Can’t you imagine what revenge-seeking conservatives will attempt?
Lincoln: Child, you’ve spent too much time in the field, these officers will show you out.
Sara: But, Mr. President, the world may never accept leveling the playing field of this war, what do we do if things hardly ever change?
Lincoln: Young Lady, what does that even mean, “Leveling the playing field”? Have you found where William Henry keeps the brandy, or are you direct from the hospital Mary has spent time in? Secretary Seward, please release the hounds…

(This transcribed letter was left at my Dad’s front door next to a flaming paper bag of poop today. He has allowed me to publish this letter exclusively, and I hope you think of it next time you declare to someone that you are not racist.)
Rennick,
I ‘unfriended’ you on FaceBook because of how you reacted from saying that I’m not racist, which I am not. Saying to me, “What do you want, a cookie?” Is not how friends treat each other.
By being friends with you, have you ever thought about ALL the people I could have been friends with, or dated? Do you remember Julie Bressel from college? I never told you this, but she and I never dated because I didn’t like the way she called you, “My Little Schwoogie” when you weren’t around. I thought she was just making fun of your weight, when she first started saying it, I don’t speak Jewish!
Don’t you think I should get some credit for being a decent person? You don’t have any appreciation for the things your white friends do for you when your back is turned! Every time I say, “I’m not Racist,” you don’t have to chime in with, “That’s redundant, Joey, you’re not supposed to be racist in the first place!”
Screw you, man, saying “I’m not racist” is NOT redundant when you say it to some minority for two reasons:
1. There are plenty of racists I still keep in touch with online, and I want to remind them.
2. I don’t want you to mix ME up with one of YOUR racists friends.
I’m tired of you laughing and shaking your head every time I said that, I’m tired of you going on about the Kansas City Ch–fs and Washington R–skins having racist names, and I’m tired of you trying to make me feel bad about getting season tickets every year. Just because I wore the jacket and hat of each team whenever we hung out, and wore them to that reservation-run casino doesn’t mean I need to, “Rethink the statement I make.” Dude, what does that even mean?
Next time you make up teams like ‘The Kansas City Degos’ or ‘Washington WOPs’ to make me change my mind about my sportswear, think about how racist YOU’RE being. (Yeah, I know I’ve heard you say, “Blacks can’t be racist, because it’s takes power to be racist,” but I never got that whole thing anyway, so I’m gonna call YOU a racist!) How does it feel being called a racist, Rennick, guess you won’t ever be President NOW, huh? Now we’re even.
